IErrorHandler

The IErrorHandler interface defines a set of methods for reporting compilation errors.

Methods

The IErrorHandler interface defines the following methods.

Method	Description
Error(Int32, String)	Adds the specified nonfatal error message and source file line number to the list of compilation errors.
Fatal(Int32, String)	Throws an ApplicationException when a fatal error is encountered during compilation, and returns the line number as well as an appropriate error message.
SetSourceName(String)	Sets the name of the source file whose compilation produced the errors.

Properties

The IErrorHandler interface has the following properties.

• ErrorMessages
  Data type: ArrayList
  Access type: Read-only

  Contains a collection of nonfatal error messages generated at compilation time.

• SourceName
  Data type: String
  Access type: Read-only

  Contains the name of the source file whose compilation produced the errors.
