Copy Phys. Invt. Order Batch Job

You can use this batch job to create new physical inventory order lines.

First you have to create a new physical inventory order header and you have to fill in all necessary fields. Than you can use the batch job to create new lines from existing lines of other physical inventory orders.

You can determine how the batch job is executed by filling in the fields as follows:

Options

Document Type: Click the field and choose the document type that you want to copy from.

Document No.: click the field and choose the document number that you wish to copy from. The contents of the field above determines which document numbers you can choose from.

Calculate Qty. Expected: Place a check mark in the check box if you want the program to calculate and insert the contents of the field quantity expected for new created physical inventory order lines.

Click the OK button to start the batch job. If you do not want to run the batch job now, click Cancel to close the window.

Note

You can run the batch job more than once. If there are already existing lines, the program will append the new lines at the end of the document.

Before adding a new line, the program checks, if there is already an existing physical inventory order line with the combination of the 4 fields Item No., Variant Code, Location Code and Bin Code. In this case the program will not insert a new line to avoid duplicate lines.
