Inventory Posting Group Field, Assembly Line Table

Specifies the inventory posting group to which the item on this assembly order line is posted. The item is also known as an assembly component. The value is copied from the item card, but you can change it on the line.

Additional Information

When you post transactions for the item on the assembly order line, then this code is used with location codes in the Inventory Posting Setup window where these combinations are linked to general ledger accounts.
