Checks whether an Extensible Markup Language (XML) fragment is a syntactically correct expression.

Parameters

  • expressionXml
    Type: System..::.String
    XML fragment string. May not be nullNothingnullptra null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Return Value

Type: System..::.Boolean
true if the XML fragment is valid; otherwise, false.

Exceptions

Exception Condition
ArgumentNullException

The expressionXml argument was passed as nullNothingnullptra null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

CommerceTargetingException

All the other failures.
