RefreshCache Method

Refresh the ShippingMethod cache. Loads the ShippingMethod values into the ShippingMethod cache for the RunTime system.

Thrown if sql command timeout occurs.

Remarks

Refresh the Shipping methods. Loads the Shipping method values into the orders cache. The cache is used on the runtime side. It refreshes cache on all the webservers for the site. It looks in the Admin database to get the list of webeservers

Use this method to force an immediate refresh of the shippping methods in the Orders System cache.

In order to perform a RefreshCache, the user must have the OrdersViewer permissions. See Orders System Roles [CS06] for more information about the specific roles in the Order System.

Some order system APIs support distributed transactions. If a cookie with a valid transaction is found the order system enlists as part of that transaction. If a valid transaction is not found the order system initiates a new transaction.
