Initializes a new instance of the ParentEntityDoesNotExistException with the specified error message, the type and Id of the entity that caused the exception and an inner exception.

Parameters

• message
  Type: System..::.String
  The error message that explains the reason for the exception.

• parentEntityType
  Type: System..::.String
  The type of the parent entity.

• parentEntityId
  Type: System..::.String
  The Id or name of the parent entity.

• inner
  Type: System..::.Exception
  The exception that is the cause of the current exception, or a nullNothingnullptra null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) if no inner exception is specified.

Remarks

If the inner parameter is not a nullNothingnullptra null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) reference, the current exception is raised in a catch block that handles the inner exception.

This exception is thrown when an operation failed because the parent entity does not exist.
