How to Change the Connection String for a Site Resource

This topic provides steps for changing the connection string for a site resource. After you change a connection string, you must restart Internet Information Services (IIS).

To change the connection string for a site resource

1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Commerce Server 2009 , and then click Commerce Server Manager.

2. In the Commerce Server Manager console, in the left pane, expand Commerce Server Manager, expand Commerce Sites, and then expand the site that you want to administer.

3. Expand Site Resources, right-click the site resource you want to configure, and then click Properties.

4. In the Properties dialog box, on the Connection Strings tab, select a connection string, and then click Modify.

5. In the Data Link Properties dialog box, make the required changes, and then click OK.
