SDK Items and Tools
The Commerce Server 2009 Software Development Kit (SDK) provides two types of items that help with the development and deployment of Commerce Server 2009 Web sites. These items are as follows:
SDK Tools. Tools to help you with the management or deployment of Commerce Server 2009 that fall outside the ordinary administration tools such as Commerce Server Manager, Site Packager, and other features.
SDK Items. Development samples for use to help you in developing sites.
Accessing SDK Items
Commerce Server 2009 SDK code samples, sample applications, and tools that are provided with the Commerce Server 2009 SDK are not localized (provided in English only) and are accessed through:
Commerce Server 2009 CD. You can find these items in the \Tools\ or \SDK\ directories in Commerce Server 2009.
Community. These items are available through the Commerce Server 2009 community on MSDN or GotDotNet. Community samples are not supported. For more information, see the Microsoft Commerce Server 2009 Community Web site at https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=66714.
