Managing Profile Definitions
Use the Profiles Schema Manager to change the display name and description for a profile definition and to add custom attributes to a profile definition. To create a new profile definition, you can copy an existing profile definition and change the name and attributes of the new profile definition.
Commerce Server 2009 gives you several profile definitions when you unpack a site. You can copy these profile definitions to create new profile definitions to suit your needs. You can delete a profile definition that no longer meets your needs, and you can delete a custom attribute from a profile definition. You cannot recover a custom attribute after you have deleted it. If you delete a custom attribute by mistake, you must re-create the custom attribute.

The Profiles adapter will not work with custom profile definitions unless you set the following two date/time properties on your custom profile definition: date_last_changed, csadapter_date_last_changed. |
