Building the Production Environment

The production environment contains the commerce applications and content for the live Web site. The specific composition of the production environment depends on the type of deployment you build. In the base deployment, the production environment consists of the data tier and the Web tier. In the enterprise deployment, the production environment also includes the staging environment.
