ProductCatalog Property

Gets or sets the name of the catalog the current instance is associated with.

Property Value

Type: System..::.String
The name of the catalog. Cannot be nullNothingnullptra null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Exceptions

Exception Condition
ArgumentNullException

The value being set is nullNothingnullptra null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic). Assign ProductCatalog a non null value to prevent this exception.

ArgumentException

The length of the string being set is greater than the maximum allowable length specified in the orders storage mapping file.

Remarks

Stores the name of the catalog the current instance is associated with. ProductCatalog is one of the required properties (in addition to ProductId and ProductVariantId) to uniquely identify an item in the catalog. ProductCatalog is trimmed of leading and trailing white space characters before being set.

The default maximum length for ProductCatalog is 255 characters, as defined in the corresponding table column constraint specified in the default Orders storage mapping file, OrderObjectMappings.xml.
