Azure DevOps Services Plugin for IntelliJ IDEA and Android Studio

TFS 2018 | TFS 2017 | TFS 2015

Compatible with IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate and Community editions, Android Studio, RubyMine, WebStorm, PhpStorm, PyCharm, AppCode, MPS, 0xDBE and CLion.

The plugin is available in the IntelliJ Plugin Repository.

The plugin can be installed from IntelliJ by browsing the Plugin Repository.

  1. In IntelliJ, open plugin settings:
    • Linux: from the File menu, select Settings... then Plugins
    • Mac: from the IntelliJ IDEA menu, select Preferences... then Plugins
    • Windows: from the File menu, select Settings... then Plugins
  2. Click the Browse repositories... button and search for "Azure DevOps".
  3. Click the Install plugin button and restart IntelliJ IDEA.

You can also download the plugin to disk from the Plugin Repository and install the downloaded JAR file.

  1. In IntelliJ, open plugin settings:

    • Linux: from the File menu, select Settings... then Plugins
    • Mac: from the IntelliJ IDEA menu, select Preferences... then Plugins
    • Windows: from the File menu, select Settings... then Plugins
  2. Click the Install plugin from disk... button and browse to the JAR file on disk.

  3. Click the Install plugin button and restart IntelliJ IDEA.

Q: What versions of IntelliJ IDEA are supported?

A: The plugin is supported and tested on:

  1. IntelliJ Ultimate and Community editions versions 14 and later
  2. Android Studio version 1.2 and later

The plugin is expected to work on other IDEs built on IntelliJ IDEA versions 14 and 15 including RubyMine, WebStorm, PhpStorm, PyCharm, AppCode, MPS, 0xDBE and CLion but we don't test on those IDEs.

Q: Is the source code for the plugin available?

A: The source code is available on GitHub. It is open sourced under the MIT license and we welcome contributions.
