How to Configure a 3270 Connection

The following procedure details configuring a 3270 connection.

In SNA Manager, expand the server on which to configure the connection, and then expand SNA Service.
Expand Connections, right-click the 3270 (DM3270) connection, and then click Properties.

Connection Properties lets you specify which link service to use for the connection, as well as the name of the connection and additional information. The choices you make depend on the purpose of the connection.
After you have made your configuration changes, click OK.
Right-click SNA Service, and then click Save configuration.
Stop and then start SNA service.
