ToolTask.GenerateFullPathToTool Method

Definition

Gets the fully qualified tool name. Should return ToolExe if ToolTask should search for the tool in the system path. If ToolPath is set, this is ignored.

protected:
 abstract System::String ^ GenerateFullPathToTool();
protected abstract string GenerateFullPathToTool ();
abstract member GenerateFullPathToTool : unit -> string
Protected MustOverride Function GenerateFullPathToTool () As String

Returns

Path string.

Examples

The following example creates a ToolTask that runs Ilasm.exe (IL Assembler). The CommandLineBuilder, ToolLocationHelper, and TaskLoggingHelper classes are used to generate the information needed to run the task.
