Yes, I have installed SQL Server 2008 (aka Katmai) Dev Edn. Few things for successful installation,

  • Better use newly formatted machine
  • Make sure that you have IIS installed (otherwise it will fail to install Reporting Service)

Everything works perfectly fine.
