Luxury Electronics Maker Bang & Olufsen chooses Office 365

Danish luxury audio system maker Bang & Olufsen has just started using Microsoft Office 365 to bring its email, calendar-keeping, team collaboration and communication together under one easy-to-use system.

Bang & Olufsen has long been world-renowned for its attention to detail - especially for its high-end TVs, loudspeakers, MP3 player docks and audio systems that are often built into Audi, BMW, Mercedes-AMG and Aston Martin vehicles. That same attention to detail is reflected in the way the company approaches work and its interaction with customers. More than 75 percent of Bang & Olufsen's employees work remotely, so they needed a top-of-the-line email, conferencing and file-sharing solution is essential for its teams.

Bang & Olufsen previously used Lotus Notes, but found it was costly and only truly available to 150 of its employees who had Blackberry devices - while the other 1,350 mobile employees were left without access. Now all 2,000 Bang & Olufsen employees have a consistent experience using Office 365.  Even better, the company expects to save 83 percent in IT operations with Office 365, reduce travel expenses, and improve overall communication with Office 365 email, calendars and conferencing.
