Unified Communications – Bolton and Gartner
Unified Communications is definitely one of the IT buzzwords this year. In fact, according to Gartner, it's one of the six mega-trends that will emerge in technology this year and, according to their research, the hyperconnected enterprise is the way forward.
I am not sure if Bolton Council consider themselves a ‘hyperconnected enterprise’ in the Gartner sense but they are certainly making significant progress in using unified communications to achieve their strategic aims, according to this profile from the NCC.
