Data Management – 9th SQLBits Conference in Liverpool in September
SQLBits is a very active user community for users of Microsoft SQL Server. It is an independent organisation that aims to assist all SQL Servers users to get the most out of their investment in SQL Server as a data management and business intelligence platform. The 9th SQLBits user conference is now scheduled to take place at the Adelphi Hotel in Liverpool from Thursday September 29th to Saturday October 1st 2011.
SQLBits is a technical user community and the conference is aimed primarily at data management and business intelligence professionals and database administrators. The programme for the 9th SQLBits conference is currently being finalised and covers a wide range of topics from SQL Azure for cloud solutions through data warehousing to business reporting and analytics and numerous sessions on the next version of SQL Server (codename ‘Denali’).
Day one will be a training day, featuring in-depth full day seminars by leading SQL Server professionals; day two will be a deep-dive conference day with advanced sessions delivered by the best speakers from the SQL Server community, Microsoft and strategic SQL Server partners; and day three will be the traditional SQLBits community conference day, with a wide range of sessions covering many aspects of SQL Server at all levels of ability.
I have attended previous SQLBits conferences and they are an excellent way to learn from other users and apply their experience and expertise to improve your organisation’s business value from your investment in Microsoft SQL Server.
Registration for SQLBits 9 is now open and you can review the programme for the conference here.
