About the seminar
After the dust around SOA has settled, we now see for the first time the real reuse of services in the cloud. Microsoft skips infrastructure and servers and goes directly to services and building blocks there.
What is required to move an existing application in Azure? How is the Azure different than regular hosting? How to optimize for Azure?
In this seminar we´ll go under the hood of Azure and you will learn how developers are going to compose systems in the cloud.
This seminar is not for CIOs or IT managers who want to understand the profitability or basics of Cloud Technology. This one is for the geeks, the doers, the tech guys.
About the speaker
Ronny Hansen, Senior Software Architect - Symbio
Ronny has worked with Microsoft technology since 1990, and is today developing in .NET on everything from embedded devices with .NET Micro Framework to Cloud solutions with Windows Azure - and everything in between.
He is a board member of Norwegian .NET User Group (NNUG.no), involved in the Norwegian Computer Society (www.dnd.no) Cloud Computing Research groups and is responsible for SQL Azure in SQL Server User Group (SQLUG.no).
Ronny holds a number of presentations internally, but has also been giving presentations at NNUG, Microsoft and for the Norwegian Computer Society
