The Future of SQLCAT.COM

Hello SQLCAT.COM friends:

Thanks for your on-going support of SQLCAT.COM website for so many years. This is a very popular site for its deep practical content.  However, MSDN also contains useful SQL Server content and a large number of users consider MSDN the primary information source. To minimize reader confusion and to streamline content publication we have decided to make our MSDN SQLCAT blog the primary vehicle for content distribution effective September 1, 2013 and remove SQLCAT.COM site. To make the transition to MSDN easier, we will be reposting SQLCAT.COM’s most popular blogs on the MSDN SQLCAT blog over the next several weeks.

Our SQLCAT team has significantly increased in size and added more responsibility. To reflect our new enhanced role we are now have two Twitter handles: @SQLCAT and  @WinAzureCAT.

oh no, even SQL CAT is joining the public pool. Guess we should've seen it coming. The oddly large number of people who identified themselves as SQL CAT at conferences in recent years even though they know as much about SQL internals as my cat (she devilishly smart but can't tell T-SQL from PL/SQL) hinted of SQL CAT not being a highly exclusive team of experts anymore. Thank you for the amazing work over the years SQL CAT.

Hopefully by now all of the articles the folks are interested in have been re-posted or are in the consolidated index of white papers, if not, don't forget about the Wayback machine.  :-) Shep
