"Free Concert in Galway," says Robbie
Along with my PADI diving certification this weekend, it turns out I picked up a nasty ear infection.
I had been woozy all day while preparing for my WPF presentation, but it wasn't til I was really dizzy on the train to Galway that I rang my diving instructor, who thought it sounded like I'd burst my eardrum and therefore needed swift attention. The good news is that it looks like it's just a middle-ear infection, which means I should be back to normal in short order.
But -- I apologise most sincerely to everyone at ITAG in Galway. Nothing short of medical urgency could keep me from a WPF talk!
In the spirit of Robbie Williams promising Dublin a free concert, I promise I'll be back to Galway to talk WPF in the coming weeks -- and I'll make the presentation even cooler.
Meanwhile, don't hesitate to get WPF and explore it yourself. [Update: I've updated my 'Resources for learning WPF' article with WPF Beta 2 information.]
