I see from the KB entry that there are many bug fixes that "were not previously documented in the Microsoft Knowledge Base". Do you think this is acceptable? I have had several problems with Project 2007 which I have searched for in vain, trying to find solutions or even an acknowledgement of the issue. Now I find out that Microsoft knew about them all along but kept it secret until the SP was released. If you know there's a problem and are working on a solution, please post a KB article so that we know.

In KB942386 (client), the URL for the Excel list of fixes gets me the list of SERVER fixes, not Project (desktop / client).  Where can I get an Excel for Project 2007 client?

Saurabh - Check out the post I just made about the updated SDK.  We added an article on using xslt. Don - Thanks for the heads up on the links issue.  We're trying to get these worked out. Thanks.

For example the check in bug (project plan is correctly saved when you close project pro by clicking to X) wasfixed but this problem isn't listed. Another funny problem was that Tasks can dissaper from project plan saved to server.

After installing Office 2007 SP1 the Project Server Events Service and Queue service will not start.  Ideas on how to resolve?

    > I see from the KB entry that there are many bug fixes that "were not previously documented in the Microsoft Knowledge Base". Do you think this is acceptable? I have had several problems with Project 2007 which I have searched for in vain, trying to find solutions or even an acknowledgement of the issue. Now I find out that Microsoft knew about them all along but kept it secret until the SP was released. The items which are documented in KBs prior to the Service Pack being released are typically because they were hotfix requests raised by customers and become public knowledge once they are resolved. The other issues which haven't been documented previously were either too large to take as a hotfix or were not raised as a hotfix request and therefore only get documented when they are fixed in the released Service Pack. Even if a bug is known about it isn't sensible to discuss it until we know what the ship vehicle is. There is no guarantee, other than when we ship a Service Pack, that a specific fix will make it in so the benefit to discussing it, especially if there is no reasonable workaround, is minimal

I Find it sad and dispicable that you have removed the Save as Html feature from Project 2007. The least you can do is provide us with an XSLT which can produce something similiar to earlier version.

I also find it hideous that you have removed the HTML save feature.  Really makes me angry.  I'm going back 2003, and will use it forever - no more $$ for MS for Project from me!

In Project 2007, the summary bars don't always reset when the subtasks are revised.  This is just annoying.  Now I'm finding that float values don't always reset when logic is revised.  I have to manually delete and re-enter the logic ties. My software is SP2 MSO (12.0.6425.1000). Is there any fix for these problems?
