The Hotmail team used Visual Studio Team System and it's testing capabilities during the recent rollout of the new version of Hotmail.  The team just released a case study documenting how they used VSTS to ensure that the new version would adequately meet the site's rigorous performance requirements.  You can download the case study here.  This is a great example of VSTS being used in the real world.
