Office Resource Kit documentation can be downloaded as a compiled Help file

The entire 2007 Office Resource Kit library is available as a downloadable compiled Help .chm file. To download this file, see 2007 Office Resource Kit Technical Library in Compiled Help (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=127842\&clcid=0x409). This download includes all the content in the library and is updated monthly.

Note: If you are downloading the 2007 Office Resource Kit library .chm file and you are using Windows Vista or have installed Windows security updates MS05-026 or MS05-001, the text in this file might not appear as expected. When you download the 2007 Office Resource Kit Technical Library in Compiled Help file from the Microsoft Download Center (at https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=127842\&clcid=0x409), follow these instructions to open the file and display the text.

To open the .chm file and display the text

1. Click Download.

2. In the File Download dialog box, click Save.

3. Use the Save As dialog box to save the file to your computer.

4. Find the file on your computer and double-click it.

5. In the Open File dialog box, you must clear the Always ask before opening this file check box, and then click Open.

    Wow, great source of knowledge on-the-go! I always used the office technet fpr references, but was unaware of the download version. The section "what was updated" in the chm file is valuable, too. Thank you for the great hint!
