CE 6.0 Launch Date announced - Attend the Virtual Event.

CE 6.0 Launch Date has been announced - Make a note in your calendars for November 1st 2006 8am PST - note that this is going to be a Virtual event - more information available at https://www.ce6launch.com 

The launch event will give you a first look at Windows Embedded CE 6.0 and Windows XP Embedded Service Pack 2 Feature Pack 2007.

This is an online event, partly "live", with a keynote given by Craig Mundie, Chief Research & Strategy Officer, Microsoft and then a number of "On Demand" sessions and labs.

    Microsoft is marching forward with it's embedded operating systems. Win CE (which is what Windows Mobile OS is based on) is launching a new version 6.0 on Nov 1, 2006.

    Is the registration page available? I've tried more than 10 times in 2 days to register but unable so far.

    look for the register button top left of the page (it's not as obvious as it could be).

    The link didn't work for me either today at work - same error as you.  I tried it just before from home and have now successfully registered for the event.

    When I click the "Register" button I get prompted to enter my Passport credentials - I've tried this in the office and at home, seems to work in both places for me.

    I finally managed to register from home, but had to retry a couple of times.

    The problem remains at work. I'll talk to our IT department to see if they're blocking access to Microsoft pages :-)
