Microsoft at the Consumer Electronics Show

During yesterday's keynote Microsoft unveiled and demoed technology from across the rich spectrum of new offerings.These included

--Vista to Vista search! Search all your home PC's at once!

--Shadow copy in Vista, easily revert to earlier versions of your documents.

--Use your Xbox 360 controller to not just navigate, but fly through Windows Live Virtual Earth

---Sports Lounge for the Media Center PC, watch one game while getting real time information about others you're interested in!

--Partnering with Starz, Vongo and Showtime for on demand video for Media Center users

NOT TO MENTION: Window Vista Ultimate Extras!!! Oh, man, I've had to keep my mouth shut about this for MONTHS now and it's so cool--as new features and feature sets are available they can be downloaded to your Windows Vista Ultimate Machine. these will include:

--DreamScene--FULL MOTION DESKTOP! You may have heard rumours, but now it's official! Dream Scene will be available as an Ultimate Extra.

--Point of clarification: Group Shot which is demoed in the CES Keynote is not yet considered an Ultimate Extra, but may be before too long.... for more info on Group Shot see the Microsoft Research page at https://research.microsoft.com/projects/GroupShot/
