Going Coast to Coast with the Dumbo Double Dare Training Week 1
I just did the math and realized I am less than 9 weeks away (60 days) from the Dumbo Double Dare Challenge in Disneyland. This is challenge were I will run the Disneyland® 10K on Saturday, followed by the Disneyland® Half Marathon on Sunday. This is the first time they are doing this event. In fact this is the first time I get to do an inaugural run.
Now while I am only about 8 weeks away I have been running since the marathon in January and keeping in relatively good shape. I have already run one 1/2 this year in May, so I figure I am ready for this run but want to run it a little stronger than I did in May. So I am upping the running a bit and I am including my plan below. Additionally running this will also allow me to get my coast to coast medal for the year. I am really looking forward to the run, and in just a few short weeks I will be there. Enjoy and talk with you next week.
