I like it!
I like to write code.
Reflecting about what this activity of design and programming trigger on me, I see kind of "a fundamental feeling that is hard to define but that people desire to experience", also known as "pleasure".
A song by Dee Snider and Twisted Sister rock band comes to mind: "It’s only rock’n’roll", in particular that part of "...It’s only rock’n’roll, but I like it, I like it, I like it,..."
Well, I think in this case would go like:
"It’s only writing code but I like it, I like it, I like it, I like it, I like it, I like it, I like it, I like it, I like it!!!"
Reasoning about where is the place for every bit, formulating correct logic, thinking about dependency management principles and rules, separation of concerns, abstraction, object orientation, large scale programs, high availability, fast and scalable code,... wow! that sensation again with the word: "design", it feels sweet!
I like to control computers.
Scheming their precise behavior and make them obey submitted under my command, what a feeling of power!!!
I like to be a computer programmer.
