Feb 29th Toolkit Release!

You can experience the new Toolkit here. As has been the case with the last couple of releases, it includes binaries and source for both .NET Framework 2.0 and .NET Framework 3.5.

Please post any issues you run into on our forums.

Mucho thanks to our patch contributors who made this a very successful release! We would love to include your fixes in the next Toolkit release. All you need to do is to find a bug and start patching.

OK, I need to ask this. Are the people working on this at all aware of the progress that is going on in the world of JavaScript and Ajax frameworks? Sure, your toolkit is nice and it's great to see bug fixes, but let's be really honest here. There is no visible progress at all! Let's go to Codeplex, and see what releases are planned. Oh, look at that, no releases planned... So when can we expect a GridView extender, 2010? With every release it becomes more clear: Microsoft is stalling the progress of ALL their Ajax efforts. They do this because they don't want it to be a success. Toolkit developers are working on Silverlight (Shawn Burke). The community toolkit project is left to rot, while the best contributors from inside Microsoft are working on proprietary technologies. Luckily, there is plenty of choice when it comes to JavaScript toolkits. So if you want to sort your tables or resize a column, give YUI or ExtJS a shot, because this project is not delivering. So thanks for the effort, but I'm gone.

Yes, it's very sad that this project is so dead - especially when so many ppl are using it! I hope to see some activity soon, please...
