Windows XP service pack 3 out next week

According to Chris Keroack, the release manager, service pack 3 for Windows XP will be available for download (Windows Update and the Microsoft Download Centre) on April 29th, 2008.

Versions for MSDN/TechNet, Windows XP Embedded and Windows Fundamentals will arrive at a later date.

Looking through the KnowledgeBase, the only public fix for MSMQ customers that will be included in SP3 is from one of my support cases {{Warm glow of pride}} :

936455 Error message when a domain-joined Windows XP Professional client computer establishes a security channel to a domain controller server computer that is then restarted: "STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED"

although it's not a hotfix for MSMQ code.
