SharePoint 2010 Introduction Training

If you are a Microsoft Registered, Certified or Gold Partner, I am offering some free introductory training to the capabilities and value of Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010. This is a day-long classroom session intended to get you up to speed on what can be done with SharePoint 2010 and why it might be useful to your customers. At the end of the session, attendees should have a clear understanding of the key out-of-the-box features of SharePoint and the main differences between SharePoint 2007 and 2010, as well as knowledge of SharePoint Workspace, SharePoint Designer, BPOS and Office Web Apps.

The course will not be deeply technical. It will be good for business decision makers who are deciding whether to start a SharePoint practice, sales specialists who want a detailed overview or technical people who are new to SharePoint and want a broad introduction.

There are four dates currently set for this training. More will be added depending on demand.

21st January - 9:30-16:30 - Microsoft Campus, Thames Valley Park, Reading

12th February - 9:30-16:30 - Cardinal Place, London

12th March - 9:30-16:30 - Microsoft Campus, Thames Valley Park, Reading

9th April - 9:30-16:30 - Cardinal Place, London

If you want to get skilled up in preparation for the release of SharePoint 2010, this would be a good place to start. As of writing this, we still have 13 spaces available for the January training. You can get more details and register using the Partner Learning Center.

As I mentioned above, the training is free and lunch will be provided.
