Alerting on new email in subfolders
Over the past few days I've been contacted by a number of people looking for an answer to what seems to be a very common question.
How can you get alerts of new email in subfolders and also when you get email from important people (eg your boss)
Well after much searching one of my colleagues (Jonathan) forwarded me details of the WatchFlag solution.
Watchflag compares incoming email and text messages against custom rules to provide distinct alerts based on sender, subject and more.
It works on Windows Mobile 5 and 6.0 devices too!

Jason, will Microsoft add this obvious feature into WM7, seeing as it isn't in WM6.1?Anonymous

Thanks for the plug, Jason and Jonathan. In addition to subfolder notifications, Watchflag is extremely useful if you're on call and don't want to carry a BlackBerry. We're also finding it popular for simpler things like making alerts vibrate longer and seeing new messages at a glance. We're offering an extra 15% off now through 4/5. Use promo code 'jasonlan0405' with your order. :)Anonymous

What about Windows Live Hotail failing to produce spoken notifications with Voice Command 1.6? Any suggestions please?
