SQL Server – 1 Trillion Rows Served!

Time sure have changed. I remember when SQL Server was considered a department level database not well suited for the enterprise, let alone a broadly available Software as a Service (SaaS) application.

Now out of the recent Professional Association for SQL Server (PASS) summit comes the announcement that, thanks to new technology, the next version of SQL Server (Denali) has the theoretical capability to scan 1 Trillion rows per minute.
