Trip to the Dominican Republic

I recently went to the Dominican Republic (DR) to visit a SharePoint customer. Here's a picture with me (in the middle), the Microsoft Dominican Republic Team and Rem from Captaris Teamplate (in the white shirt).

I really enjoyed my time in DR. The people are very friendly and the place itself reminds me of India. Contrary to what many people think, the DR didn't get hit my any of the hurricanes this year. They did experience some bad weather, but they didn't suffer any of the severe effects of the hurricane.

    I'm from the Dominican Republic, yeah, the northeastern region just suffered alot of bad weather, that was mostly it (some bridges did go down though). I also didn't know MS had a DR team.. That's interesting to know ;)

    My wife and I took our honeymoon there. We enjoyed it for the most part. The countryside is indeed beautiful!
