well, first Get the SDK - FREE download on: dev.windowsphone.com/en-us, you can find there also some code samples for ramp. It will work, all what you have to do is to open it and convert it to WP8 using VS. if it didn't work it will pinpoint out what should be change. Try it and let me know if you need more guidance on that.
