Interrompendo um serviço

Um programa de controle de serviço pode interromper um serviço usando a função ControlService para enviar uma solicitação de SERVICE_CONTROL_STOP. Se o SCM ( gerenciador de controle de serviço ) receber uma solicitação SERVICE_CONTROL_STOP para um serviço, ele instruirá o serviço a parar encaminhando a solicitação para a função ServiceMain do serviço. No entanto, se o SCM determinar que outros serviços em execução dependem do serviço especificado, ele não encaminhará a solicitação de parada. Em vez disso, ele retorna ERROR_DEPENDENT_SERVICES_RUNNING. Portanto, para interromper programaticamente esse serviço, primeiro você deve enumerar e interromper seus serviços dependentes.

A função DoStopSvc no exemplo a seguir mostra como parar um serviço e quaisquer serviços dependentes. A variável szSvcName é uma variável global que contém o nome do serviço a ser interrompido. Para obter o exemplo completo que define essa variável, consulte SvcControl.cpp.
