CreateDisplayPointer method

Creates a new IDisplayPointer interface for marking locations in a document or container.

Syntax

HRESULT retVal = object.CreateDisplayPointer(ppDispPointer);

Parameters

  • ppDispPointer [out]
    Type: IDisplayPointer

    A pointer to a variable that receives an IDisplayPointer interface pointer for the object representing the new display pointer.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
