TA_IP_ADDRESS structure

The TA_IP_ADDRESS structure contains a single IP transport address, suitable for use as a TRANSPORT_ADDRESS.

Syntax

typedef struct _TA_ADDRESS_IP {
  LONG           TAAddressCount;
  struct _AddrIp {
    USHORT         AddressLength;
    USHORT         AddressType;
    TDI_ADDRESS_IP Address[1];
  } Address[1];
} TA_IP_ADDRESS, *PTA_IP_ADDRESS;

Members

  • TAAddressCount
    Specifies one.

  • Address
    Specifies a single address of a structure with the following members:

    • AddressLength
      Specifies the length (14 bytes) of an IP address.

    • AddressType
      Specifies TDI_ADDRESS_TYPE_IP.

    • Address
      Specifies a single address of type TDI_ADDRESS_IP.

Remarks

TDI defines this structure for convenience in situations requiring a single TDI_ADDRESS of type TDI_ADDRESS_TYPE_IP.

Note   The TDI feature is deprecated and will be removed in future versions of Microsoft Windows. Depending on how you use TDI, use either the Winsock Kernel (WSK) or Windows Filtering Platform (WFP). For more information about WFP and WSK, see Windows Filtering Platform and Winsock Kernel. For a Windows Core Networking blog entry about WSK and TDI, see Introduction to Winsock Kernel (WSK).
