Send Feedback

If you do not want to create a permanent macro, you can create and save a temporary macro.

To record a quick macro

  1. From the Tools menu, choose Record Quick Macro.

  2. Perform the actions to record the macro.

You can temporarily interrupt and resume recording by using the Pause button on the Macro Recorder toolbar.

  3. After you complete the macro, stop recording by choosing the Stop button on the Macro Recorder toolbar.

  4. To replay the macro, from the Tools menu, choose Play Quick Macro.

This temporary macro remains available until you record another quick macro. The next quick macro you record writes over the existing quick macro.
