EnableLUA (Standard 7 Package Reference)
7/8/2014
EnableLUA
specifies whether Windows User Account Controls (UAC) notifies the user when programs try to make changes to the computer. UAC was formerly known as Limited User Account (LUA).
Values
true |
Windows notifies the user when programs try to make changes to the computer. This is the default value when the Application Security package is included in your answer file. |
false |
Windows does not notify the user when programs try to install software or make changes to the computer. We do not recommend that you use this setting. However, it is the default value if you have not included the Application Security package. When you use Image Configuration Editor to create an answer file that has this setting, an error might occur during validation. By ignoring this error, you can still create the answer file, and deploy the image with LUA disabled. |
The default value for this setting is false.
