Debug Message Options Dialog Box (Compact 2013)

In this dialog box, you can customize the debug messages that Platform Builder displays when you are debugging and testing an OS run-time image that has been downloaded to a target device and booted. To display this dialog box, go to Target > Debug Message Options.
- Timestamps
Displays a time stamp for the messages on the Debug tab of the Output window.
- Process IDs
Displays process identifiers for the messages on the Debug tab of the Output window.
- Thread IDs
Displays thread identifiers for the messages on the Debug tab of the Output window.
- Example output text
Displays text to show a sample of the currently specified messages.
- Send to output window
Displays message logging in the Output window.
- Append new line
Appends a new line to a message before displaying it in the Output window or sending it to the output file.
- Maximum lines in window
Specifies the maximum number of lines to display on the Debug tab of the Output window
- Send to file
Specifies the file and location where the message log is saved.
- OK
Sets selected options and closes the dialog box.
- Cancel
Closes the dialog box without making any changes.
