Release Directory Modules Dialog Box (Compact 2013)

In Platform Builder, you can specify that your device load certain modules (.exe or .dll files) from a release directory instead of from the OS image. Such modules are called release directory modules. If you rebuild after you create an OS image, and only the release directory modules change during the build, you do not have to rebuild and download the OS image to test the changed code. This saves time during application development.
You can also specify the release directories that your device searches. For more information, see Alternate Release Directories Dialog Box.
To specify release directory modules, click the Target menu on the Command bar, and then click Release Directory Modules….
- Modules to load from release directory
List of modules that you want to load from the release directory. To add a module, click the Add button. To remove modules, select the modules and click the Remove button.
- Configure release directories
Link to the Alternate Release Directories dialog box, in which you can select directories from which to load modules.
