Common Uses
This package is important for thin clients because they generally rely on network connectivity. Kiosks, medical or industrial devices, and especially headless devices are probably better served by preconfigured network settings than by including this package in their images.
Notes
Some tasks supported by the Network and Sharing Center can be accomplished by using the Netsh.exe command-line tool.
