IXRQuadraticBezierSegment (Compact 2013)

3/28/2014

This class represents a quadratic Bézier curve between two points in an IXRPathFigure.

Syntax

class IXRQuadraticBezierSegment : public IXRPathSegment

Inheritance Hierarchy

IXRDependencyObject

  IXRPathSegment

    IXRQuadraticBezierSegment

Methods

In addition to the methods inherited from IXRDependencyObject, this class contains the following methods.

Name

Description

IXRQuadraticBezierSegment::GetPoint1

Retrieves the control point of a curve.

IXRQuadraticBezierSegment::GetPoint2

Retrieves the endpoint of a curve.

IXRQuadraticBezierSegment::SetPoint1

Sets the control point of a curve.

IXRQuadraticBezierSegment::SetPoint2

Sets the endpoint of a curve.

Thread Safety

Members of this class are thread-safe if you previously called IXRApplication::CreateHostFromXaml and supplied it with an XRWindowCreateParams structure that has AllowsMultipleThreadAccess set to true.

Remarks

Use an IXRPathFigure object to create composite shapes that contain IXRQuadraticBezierSegment objects and other segments.

The IXRQuadraticBezierSegment class does not contain a property for the starting point of the line. The starting point of the line is the endpoint of the previous segment or the StartPoint of the IXRPathFigure if no previous segment exists.

When you create a class instance, use an IXRQuadraticBezierSegmentPtr smart pointer instead of a raw interface pointer. For more information, see XRPtr<Interface>.

You can also define an IXRQuadraticBezierSegment object in Microsoft Silverlight 3 XAML. For information about the differences between XAML in XAML for Windows Embedded and Silverlight 3, see Differences Between Microsoft Silverlight 3 and XAML for Windows Embedded. For more information about how to define this element in the source XAML for your application, see the QuadraticBezierSegment Class on MSDN.
