EDITTEXT Control (Compact 2013)

This resource-definition statement creates an edit control belonging to the EDIT class. It creates a rectangular region in which the user can enter and edit text. The control displays a cursor when the selects it. The user can then use the keyboard to enter text or edit the existing text.
EDITTEXT id, x, y, width, height [[, style [[, extended-style]]]]
Parameters
style
Specifies the control styles. This value can be a combination of the edit class styles and the following styles: WS_TABSTOP, WS_GROUP, WS_VSCROLL, WS_HSCROLL, and WS_DISABLED. For a complete listing of all supported Windows Embedded Compact styles, see Window and Control Styles.If you do not specify a style, the default style is ES_LEFT | WS_BORDER | WS_TABSTOP.
