EnumDateFormatsProc (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

1/6/2010

This function is an application-defined callback function. It is called because of a call to the EnumDateFormats function, and receives a pointer to a string buffer that contains a date format string.

Syntax

BOOL CALLBACK EnumDateFormatsProc(
  LPWSTR lpDateFormatString
);

Parameters

  • lpDateFormatString
    [out] Pointer to a string buffer that contains a null-terminated date format string. This string is a long or short date format, depending on the value of the dwFlags parameter passed to EnumDateFormats.

Return Value

TRUE continues enumeration. FALSE stops enumeration.

Remarks

Windows Embedded CE supports only the Unicode version of this function.

An EnumDateFormatsProc function can carry out any desired task.

An application registers an EnumDateFormatsProc function by passing its address to the EnumDateFormats function.

Note

This function poses a security risk. The parameter lpDateFormatString is only used as input but not declared as a const string. The user may fill anything into it and can cause a buffer overflow.
