Fonts Registry Settings for Traditional Chinese (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

The following registry keys must be set to enable Mingliu fonts for Traditional Chinese.
The HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\GDI registry key enables font linking. The following table shows the named value for the GDI parameters.

The HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\FontLink\SystemLink registry key can be used to indicate whether the Traditional Chinese Mingliu TrueType font is linked with a specified standard system font. The following table shows the named values for the SystemLink parameters.

The HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\FontLink\SystemLink registry key can also be used to indicate whether the Traditional Chinese Mingliu Monotype Imaging AC3 compressed font is linked with a specified standard system font.

Prior to Windows Embedded CE 6.0, the company Monotype Imaging was named Agfa Monotype, and the Monotype Imaging AC3 Font Compression technology was referred to as Agfa AC3 Font Compression.
