This function returns the bus prefix name.
Syntax
BOOL GetBusNamePrefix (
HANDLE hBusAccess,
LPTSTR lpReturnStr,
DWORD dwSizeInCharacters
);
Parameters
- hBusAccess
[in] Handle obtained from CreateBusAccessHandle.
- lpReturnStr
[out] Buffer to place the bus name prefix.
- dwSizeInCharacters
[out] Length of lpReturnStr.
Return Value
Returns TRUE if successful. Otherwise, it returns FALSE.
Remarks
The bus prefix name is used to create the bus name for devices on the subordinate bus combined with the bus number, slot number, and function number.
