Displaying a Mouse Cursor in the TUI (Windows CE 5.0)

Send Feedback

The default OS design you build using the IP Phone design template (for example, when following the instructions in How to Create a Default IP Phone on a CEPC or How to Create a Default IP Phone on an Emulator) sets the SYSGEN_CURSOR variable.

As a result, the OS design supports mouse input. As a side effect, a mouse cursor is sometimes displayed on screen. This is helpful if your device uses a mouse. However, if your device uses a stylus or touch-sensitive screen, you may not want the cursor to display.

To stop the display of the mouse cursor, be sure the SYSGEN_CURSOR variable is not set. Stylus-enabled and touch-sensitive screens do not require the support provided by this variable.
