The following table shows code samples of the IP firewall and firewall log.

| Fwlog.dll | A sample firewall log DLL that displays logged packets in a debug output. This sample defines several debug zones to allow fine tuning of the type of packets to display. To use this sample, you must register it with the firewall and create the appropriate firewall rules.

| fwhook | A code sample that shows how to use firewall logging capabilities to detect port scanning.
